Catalonia, outdoors and cultural tours
Catalonia is a lovely autonomous region of Spain, with countryside ranging from the High Pyrenees to lower ranges and spectacular coastal walks. It has its own distinctive language, culture, countryside, wine, cuisine and its spectactular capital Barcelona.
Tours can be arranged from a day to 2 weeks, walking or cycling, taking in some of the lovely mountains of the Pyrenees including the National Park Aigües Tortes and San Mauricio or more relaxed walks along the valleys, small hills of the lovely coast or rural La Garrotxa, a distinctive green area dotted with small inactive volcanoes, or walking over the Cap de Creus, or to the spectacular monastery of St Pere de Rodes. Tours can start and end with pick ups in Barcelona or Girona and cultural tours including those cities can be added on, and including the Dali Museum at Figueres and Dali's home in Cadaques,
La Garrotxa, green and rural with small inactice volcanoes.
